My Why
My Why
My Why
In 2020, I had a life-shifting encounter with a rescued bull at a cow shelter in California. What began as a quiet moment led to a deeper realization about connection, consciousness, and how we relate to the world around us. It pushed me to question how we treat anything we see as a resource, animals, the planet, time, or even people, and how those choices shape who we become as leaders.

It pushed me to question how we treat anything we see as a resource, animals, the planet, time, or even people, and how those choices shape who we become as leaders.
Before this work, I spent years in the corporate and tech world. I understand performance pressure, constant meetings, OKRs, and the unspoken expectation to always do more, faster. I also saw what that pace was costing teams: clarity, empathy, creativity, and long-term thinking. In workplaces, we don’t just lead ourselves; we influence how teams respond to pressure, conflict, and change.

Through time spent in nature, in sanctuaries, and in intentional observation, I discovered something simple but powerful. When we slow down just enough to notice how we decide, consume, and build, we become better leaders and create healthier cultures. Animals and nature are part of this story, not as the endpoint, but as mirrors, revealing patterns that show up just as clearly in our teams, organizations, and the systems we shape together.

What I Do
What I Do
What I Do
Modern organizations are filled with talented, capable people who are constantly “on,” moving fast and making decisions under pressure. Yet many leaders and teams operate on autopilot, disconnected from the long-term impact of how they work and lead. My work helps organizations slow down just enough to think more clearly, strengthen decision-making, improve collaboration, and build cultures that are both human-centered and high-performing.

Why Living Systems Work
Why Living Systems Work
In living systems — as we see in nature and with animals — status is behavioral, not assigned. There are no titles or performance reviews to hide behind. Animals and natural systems respond to presence, consistency, and awareness; hierarchy exists, but it is earned through action, not org charts.
Grounded in established animal behavior research, observational science, and time spent at farm sanctuaries, I help leaders recognize patterns in themselves and their teams. Animals are not part of this work — no sessions, no interactions, no interventions. What living systems reveal about behavior, trust, and connection becomes a mirror for the human dynamics we navigate every day. Those same patterns show up in meetings, decision-making, collaboration, and culture at work.

What I OFFER
What I OFFER

Speaking engagements and keynotes
Interactive workshops (1–2 hours or full-day)
For those who want to go further, I occasionally offer volunteer opportunities in collaboration with local farm animal sanctuaries — organizations doing vital work caring for rescued animals. This is about showing up in service, not extracting insight. What participants take from the experience is their own.
I deliver keynotes, talks, and workshops that translate conscious living into real-world leadership practices
For organizations interested in extending the experience beyond the room, I also offer optional engagements through my nonprofit, Befriend Cows. These immersive experiences integrate art, yoga, mindfulness, music, and storytelling to provide leaders with a grounded, experiential way to explore conscious leadership through living systems and creative practice.

Through stories, research-backed insights, and observation-based frameworks, I guide audiences to examine:
How they decide
Ethics, impact, and long-term consequences
How they build
Teams, systems, environments, and culture
How they consume
Resources, products, time, and attention
What Organizations Gain
What Organizations Gain

Leaders and teams walk away with:
Greater clarity and focus in high-stakes decision-making
Stronger empathy and collaboration, leading to healthier team dynamics
Renewed creativity and problem-solving by stepping out of constant hustle mode
More grounded, compassionate leadership that elevates people rather than exhausting them
A shared language for what it means to live and work consciously
Why This Works in Corporate Environments
Why This Works in Corporate Environments
I come from the corporate and tech world. I understand performance pressure, OKRs, competition, and constant change, including the acceleration of AI.
What I offer is a reframing of how success is pursued. When leaders become more conscious in how they decide, consume, and build, organizations become more sustainable, more human-centered, ethically grounded, and still high-performing.
Conscious leadership is a performance advantage.

This framework reflects how small, everyday leadership choices scale from individuals to teams, organizations, and society.

Coexist with Respect
Shift from "use" to "relationship" in how you engage with people, time, resources, and the living world. This includes the animals and ecosystems we share the planet with, not just the humans in the room.
Practice Empathy in Community
Shared experiences, whether through volunteering, time in nature, or simply paying attention to the lives unfolding alongside ours, build perspective and a more expansive, compassionate leadership.
Pause + Observe
Step out of the constant hustle long enough to notice what is actually happening: around you, within your team, and within yourself. Most harm — to people, to other species, to the planet — begins with moving too fast to notice.
Choose Consciously
Before acting, ask better questions: Do I actually need this? Is there an alternative? Who or what bears the cost of this choice, and are they in the room? What are the long-term effects of this choice to everyone?
Use Technology to Amplify Good
Use technology with intention: Explore how tools can support human wellbeing, ethical progress, and mission-driven impact. Ask the same questions of your technology that you ask of yourself: what is this optimizing for, and at whose expense?

Beyond the Bio
Beyond the Bio
I’m deeply guided by Sanatana Dharma and a devotion to spiritual growth.
Hot take: A person practicing yoga cannot be an animal product consumer.
I believe animals deserve dignity as sentient beings, not exploitation.
Quirk: I sing to animals — one once fell asleep in my lap mid-song, which I choose to take as a compliment.
